This
is where we document our infamous NFL
TOURS!
Each year, we pack our cheese and kilts and head across the Atlantic
and put our own lives at risk as we venture to see just how far Americans
are willing accept the concept of men in skirts with plaid cheeseheads!
Our goal is to get to every NFL stadium. We are almost there - but since
they keep building new ones all the time it makes this task bloody difficult!
Coming
one day ...
Since
we have been to every NFL city between us - we should really rank them!

THE
TOURS (1998-2004)
|
|
2004:
SUPERBOWL XXXVIII!
2004 was kicked
off in style by a trip to the Super Bowl in Houston by Preston and the
Claymores FTP. It was the 1st time the city had hosted the game in 30
years, and it turned out to be quite an event!

 |
|
2003:
KANSAS COW!
In 2003, Shuggie
was in the Big Apple - but Preston convinced him to come to the Little
Apple (Manhattan, KS) and kick off a series of games that covered the
states of Kansas, California, Oregon and Washington. Except the
game in California never happened because of wildfires!

|
2002:
FIGURE OF EIGHT!
In 2002, we were
decided to do a Cheddar best 8 games in 12 days. Even more bizzare was
that the driving route we took across the US and Canada made a bizzare
looking figure of 8!
|
 |
|
2001:
VIVA LA SANTA!
In 2001, we were
motivated by the goal of doing 2 games in the same day, which we did
in San Francisco and Oakland. Using the airways we also took in games
in Nashville, New Orleans and Phoenix before resting our weary souls
in Las Vegas for Christmas!
|
|
|
2000:
THE CHEDDAR-LENNIUM!
2000 miles was the
theme here. Starting in Boulder, CO we drove to Denver, Kansas City,
Chicago, West Lafeyette (IN) and Minneapolis to take in 6 games in 10
days that spanned a couple of thousand miles along the way. We also
managed to sneak into Lambeau Field along the way!
|
|
|
1999:
THE TOILET BOWL TOUR!
Sometimes we like
bad football, and this was the case on 1999's tour. We saw some stinkers
here. Starting in New York, we weaved our way through Baltimore, Indianapolis,
Athens (OH) and Pittsburgh. For good measure we went to Canton (twice!)
to see the Hall of Fame!
|
|
|
1998:
THE TRIPLEHEADER!
In 1998, after we
had completed the first NFLE tripleheader
in history we decided to repeat the feat in the NFL! Starting in Washington
on Saturday, we drove through the night to Charlotte for Sunday (400
miles), followed by all-day drive to Miami on Monday Night (750 miles).
This was crazy!
