After a scintillating end to the first half, how could the half time entertainment keep pace with the action??? Let's rate the performers and see how they did ...

P Diddy & Nelly. One was wearing a Julius Peppers shirt. One wasn't. Both were surrounded by lots of dancing girls throughout set. Both seemed to do a lot of shouting and crotch grabbing. RATING:

Kid Rock. Excitable long haired character. Completely outshone by his impressive fireworks and his bandmates Flying V guitar. No crotch grabs were noted during his performance. RATING:

Janet Jackson. (Janet Jackson? What was LaToya busy or something?) Made interesting entrance atop curtained pole. Had the biggest stage. Kept projecting her name on large clusters of white matter in case we thought she was in fact Jermaine. Definite suggestive gestures in the crotch area throughout set. Later was joined on-stage by some bloke called Justin who seemed to specialize in suggestive gestures the other side of Janet's crotch. Then the grand finale was plagued the dreaded "wardrobe malfunction" ... |

After this disappointing half-time display of so-called "talent", it took a plucky Scouser to save the day ... As the teams lined up for the 2nd half kickoff, suddenly a zebra started to lose his stripes and the next thing you know there was a semi-naked man doing an Irish jig around the Pigskin. This was quickly followed by a "Moonwalk", showing up the Jackson clan. After about 30 seconds, the heightened security took a calculated risk that this performer was not MTV approved and forced the Scouser to run for his life! He crosses midfield with ease, but Don Davis (#51) appears to have the angle on him ... The Scouser prepares to shake and bake Davis, but doesn't spot Matt Chatham (#58) on his blindside and is leveled to the ground! Thankfully the top level security forces are there in time to take him from the field and play can resume shortly! RATING:
