The Thunder had won the World Bowl and so it was time to drown our whatevers one final time at Knoten! It was a strange night, full of strange sights - most of them involving facial or chest hair! |

And then Clarky showed up and learned a hard lesson. Don't be drinking your poofy Pils drink outside Knoten in a clean white shirt! An unidentified thief charging through the Altstadt crowd, ran into the GM leaving beer and blood stains to already go with an existing Currywurst stain! |

After much amusement at the stains, he did the only decent thing and went to the bar to get the proper drink - Schlosser! (We'd not seen him buy a round like this since Hooters, in Birmingham in 1998)

But the crowd wouldn't settle until the shirt came off his back! Preston and Gregor put together the pricey sum of 50 Euros to "Sponsor the GM". Unlike the £80 that sponsors a Claymores player, in this deal you don't get a photo. Well that is if you turn your camera off ... |

But of course we didn't! And we were shocked by what we saw. Clarky's love of Germany was revealed as we bore witness to his attempt to grow The Black Forest on his back! |

And of course you get your game-worn condition shirt signed! To prevent any potential lawsuit against us - we have agreed to donate £50 to the Claymores Charity of choice (Imperial Cancer) for publishing these gruesome stills! |

And then some brave FTPer decided to tattoo his chest! (see claymoresftp.com) It was all too much! Once again standards had been lowered during another long hard season. And they would continue to do so all night - but there's some footage even we won't show on-line ... |

What should have been a nice relaxing farewell brunch at Route 66 (organized by the PL@net) - took a drunken turn with the discover of still many unused Vodka Jellies! Ooops! |

But there is always one casualty every year. In fact several of them - Brain Cells!!! 2002 was another great year - thanks to all the people who bought us alcohol during the season. Too many to mention! |
