Shuggie
leaves for New York. Sometime after this the city experiences its worst
power outage in its history. Coincidence? Maybe not!
So
far at cheddarheads.co.uk we are able to confirm the following half-truths
after one month in the Big Apple -
 During
his flight over the Atlantic, he managed to sustain a serious hand injury
after an altercation with a bar stool. These are some the perils of
business class!
Despite
living in a swanky Midtown Manhattan condo, he has been roughing it
all month - as the apartment has a distinct lack of furniture! So an
inflatable friend has been keeping him company at night!

Attended
the Jets preseason game versus the Saints at the Meadowlands and wished
Cheddar Hall of Famer Danny Kight the
best of luck. Danny was cut the next day (on his birthday of all days).
Maybe the Jets weren't so impressed with their kicker chatting to fans
in the stands when he should have been practicing his kickoffs!
Has
also been witness to poor preseason performances from Craig Nall and
Ian Allen. Stop watching ex-Claymores
please!
After
finally purchasing a big screen TV to enjoy ESPN, New York is subjected
to its worst power outage in history. Still no word on the rumour that
the powering down of Manhattan coincided with the powering up of said
TV!
